Advice

I need some advice from all of you experienced mothers. Ellie is turning two in a few weeks and for her birthday we wanted to get her a tricycle or small bicycle w/training wheels. I can't find any I love and need your help to find one! Also I am in the market for a double stroller so if any of you have one you would like to sell or have any advice on one that you love that I might love too please let me know! Thanks in advance for your help.

As for the bike, Devri still has a hard time peddaling, so we got her the Barbie Powerwheels 4 wheeler & she LOVES it! The small one is only like $120ish at walmart, & it's awsome, runs great, we LOVE it too! As for the stroller, if you want a good one, it's not cheap, but worth every penny. The Joovey ultralight caboose sit & stand is the BEST! Ellie can sit OR stand in the back & Hudson can ride in the front. It's PERFECT for a toddler/infant combo! Look online or at Babies'r'us. It's so much easier to steer & push than any other double I've seen, and it's not as bulky.

Sadie has the most awesome bike for Laney. Look on her blog..

did you want a double jogger or just a double stroller?

I have the Joovey sit and stand stroller also. I have LOVED it. It is so compact and yet both kids are comfortable. When Courtney insists on sitting in the front, Grant can sit in the back already (he started doing it when he was 8 months old, before then he had to go in front). I completely recommend it. I'm trying to figure out the bike thing too, so I'll be reading what advice people give you!

We are selling our older double jogger (the black one that I used to take on our walks a year and a half ago). Yes I know I have two double jogger strollers. Blake collects the motorcycles and me the strollers. We just got Onni a little Fisher Price Barbie Tough Trike Princess Ride-On. She just got it and hasn't used it much so we'll let you know if it works.

Hey Joell! I just saw your blog! Like Tiff said. I do have the best bike in the world. Laney turned 2 in March, and can't really ride by herself, so we bought her a radio flyer from target, but it has a handle that you can stear and push her with, but she can peddle and feel big. Then the handle just comes off when they ride by themselves. Check out my blog, you can see it there, like under my easter post.

I also have the sit and stroll stroller and love it. It's great for Denver cuz he likes to get on and off alot. We just bought Denver a bike with training wheels for his third birthday. At two he never could get peddeling. I also recommend just getting a power wheel or we had one that had a handle that attached you could push them while they ride and you take off when they are ready to do it themselve. Good luck!

Joell-I am so glad you found my blog and now I know about yours and can keep up with you. Your kids are darling. I love Hudson's name!!! As for the stroller, I did hours and hours of research and finally decided upon the Phil & Teds sport. I love it because the back seat is an attachment so it can either be a single stroller or double depending on the day. I love that I only have one stroller and it fits my needs. It is extra light and just incredible. Since I travel a lot with the kids, without Ben I needed a stroller that is easily handled with one hand while running through the airport and this fits the bill. It was expensive, but is worth every penny!

Hey I thought I would add my two cents also, although it looks like you have wonderful information. We have a double jogging stroller, and I like it because they can sit next to each other. It is a little wide, but I liked that better than having a stroller 10 ft in front of you (exaggerating ;)) Anyways and for just this last Christmas we got Mitchell a trike, because the doctor said he needed something to work on his cordination. At first he didn't quite get it, but he is getting better. So I don't know if that would be good for Ellie since she is younger. So my info doesn't really help, but I just wanted to feel included! Love Ya!
