Halloween 2010

Ellie's new favorite princess is Tiana from princess and the frog. So this year for Halloween Ellie was princess Tiana and Hudson was the frog prince. On Halloween we went to my grandparents house too so we had to snap a quick picture.

Halloween Party

We had a little Halloween party a few weeks ago and I thought I would share all the fun costumes. Bryce and I kind of dropped the ball this year. I was too pregnant to really try:( Better luck next year.

Hudson 3rd Birthday

A few weeks ago Hudson turned 3. I can't believe it. We had a fun day going to the pumpkin walk (prevoius post) and then going to pick out some gifts at WalMart and then enjoying cake and ice cream with family! I was lazy this year and didn't make a birthday cake instead we just made cake batter and cooked it in the waffle iron and put ice cream and whip cream on top of it. It was actually really and good and fun! Happy Birthday to my Big Little Hud Man!

Pumpkin Walk

I love the fall. And one of my favorite parts is going to the pumpkin walk in North Logan. Last year we went at night and it was so busy and so many people I did not love it. But thus year it was Hudson's birthday and Bryce doesn't work on Fridays so we went during the day and it was way better. The kids loved looking for the hidden objects and taking pictures in the characters. Bryce and I loved seeing the unique pumpkin scenes.

Disneyland

It really is the happiest place on earth! Even me being 7 months pregnant enjoyed myself most of the time. The first week in October our family and my parents went to Disneyland. The first day we were there it poured rain on us until about 11:00 but then the rest of the day was overcast but there were very few people there so we got to see all the princess and a few fairies and even Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, and Goofy without waiting in too long of lines. The other 2 days we were there we spent riding rides and enjoying the sites. The kids loved it and were in awe of everything. Ellie's favorite part was seeing the princesses and fairies and Hudson loved the Buzz Lightyear ride. Hudson was really funny with all the characters too he would just stare at them as if he didn't really believe he could be around these people that he watched on TV. They still talk about it to this day, which makes all the stress worth it. My mom and dad were such a big help and we never would have made it without them, especially me! Thanks again Jay & Joan.

Outside Fun

We have been working on our yard this summer and the kids have been outside a lot playing in the dirt and mud. On this particular day they decided to "wash" their car with mud. It was so funny they were so proud of the mess they made on the car I just had to snap some shots! the yard is coming along nicely. We planted seed the last week in September and it has come up very nice! If it weren't for the retaining wall caving in in the backyard we would call the yard a success.

Summer Fun

Hudson had to get his circumcision redone this summer. I was really worried about it and how he would do but it went really well and he was a trooper. We got him all excited about it and he was never really even sad except for when he was waking up from the anethesia. I just loved his face in this picture in his cute little hospital gone.
Ellie was drawing with her sidewalk chalk on our front porch and she knows how to write a few of her letters she just so happened to put these ones together on our front porch. so as you are leaving my house it says "die" with flowers all around it. How sweet. It still makes me laugh.

The kids were helping me cook in their aprons. I thought they looked cute so I snapped a picture.

I told the kids we needed to get their haircuts at grandmas house and Ellie started crying. Hudson said "I'll Hold your hand" Ellie stopped crying and said "ok" and so they had to hold hands while they got their haircut. Hudson was also very quick to said theat he didn't need anybody to hold his hand while he got his haircut.

I just thought this was a cute picture of Hudson helping Daddy get a haircut! Pretend that you can't see Bryce's tattoo.

We went to Belmont springs with Devyn and Cache. The kids had a blast!

Box Elder County Fair

As some of you may know, I love the county fair. Now my kids are finally enjoying it as much as I do. Here are just a few pictures of the fun we had on the rides this year.

Treehouse Museum

Back in the summer Bryce's brother Brent and his wife Kristen and their little boy Logan came to visit. It was so fun. One day we decided to go to the Treehouse museum in Ogden. My kids have been before but they were so much more fun this time! Ellie loves to dress up and play pretend so it was heaven to her. hudson and Logan weren't quite as impressed but they still had lots of fun, especially milking the pretend cow.

Ellie's 4th Bithday

Ellie's birthday was back in May and it was so fun. My sister-in-law Jessica and brother Jordan helped me make this cute Princess and The Frog cake. Ellie loved it and had so much fun picking it out. Her hair was cute at the beginning of the day but slowly went bad as the day went on, part of the reason her hair is now really short. And Grandpa Jay thought he was really funny with his two birthday hats on. Ellie the night before her birthday had let Grandma Joan know that she would need birthday hats for her birthday. So I ran to the grocery store at 10 o'clock that Saturday night before her birthday and got her some hats so she wouldn't be dissappointed. It is funny to me what kids decide they need as the grow into themselves.

Hogle Zoo

Back When the weather was just starting to warm up in the spring. My friend Trisha and I decided to take the kids to Hogle Zoo. It was so fun! There weren't very many people there and the kids loved it all! There were some monkeys that looked kind of like skunks and the kids decided to call them "skunky monkeys". too cute.

Easter Morn 2010

This is the first year that both of the kids were exctied for Easter and ready for the hunt. The Easter bunny found our house and brought some great baskets full of goodies for very happy children.

Egg Hunt

We went to the local Easter egg hunt at the park. My kids were so ready to go home after they got their candy. As you can tell by their lovely attitudes in the pictures. It was fun but it had snowed that night so it was really cold!

Joseph, Girl's Night Out

Back towards the begining of the year we had a friend, Jed Chirstensen, who was Joseph in "Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at the local theatre. Some of my girlfriends and I thought it would be a good girl's night out to go and see the show! It was Soooooo good! Way to go Jed.

Silly Kids

Ellie and Hudson love to play dress up. The only thing Hudson will ever wear is Snow White, which kind of bothers his dad. The other thing they love to do is pull the drawer halfway out of the coffee table and sit in it and play dinner on the table. Shortly after this picture was taken the drawer broke off and now they play that game no more!

Told You So!

There you go all caught up. Hopefully it doesn't bore you all but I am really glad I got it done. Enjoy!

Ranger Rides

This past summer my parents got a new Ranger. My kids love it and asked grandpa every time we see him if they can go for a ranger ride. He cam and picked them up one cold day and we bundled them all up and took them for a ride. The day after New Years we dragged the kids on sleigh behind the ranger and that was a lot of fun. Of course I am a slacker and didn't get any pictures though.

Christmas

I was really bad at getting picture for Christmas this year. The kids didn't stop long enough. Bryce mad a kitchen for Ellie and Hudson got a Handy Manny repair shop. Ellie's favorite present was her dress up clothes she got from Grandma Joan. There is a picture of the gift that Bryce wrapped for his brother Reid. He wrapped regular and then covered the whole thing with packaging tape and tide a bow of conduit wire. and then to finish it off taped an empty Dr. Pepper can and Big gulp cup. What a dork but it was really funny.

Christmas Shopping

A few weeks before Christmas Tiffany, Harmony, and I went and got a little Christmas shopping done. We left @ 6 and I don't think I got home until 1 in the morning it was so fun. We did stop shopping for a little minute for some food @ the olive garden it was so good you couldn't even see our table because it was covered with so many plates. Yummy! Thanks girls for a fun night.

Disney on Ice

Thanks to Jory and his work Elizabeth, Ellie, Emberly, and I got to go see the Disney Princesses on ice. Ellie loved every minute of it but threw a huge fit when it was time to go home. She talked about the show the whole way home it was really fun. Thanks again Cool Argyle Family!

Halloween

I was a witch, Ellie was Tinkerbell, and Hudson was a Golfer. They had so much fun. Hudson couldn't get to the next house fast enough. Another funny story we were walking around the neighborhood and she kept saying " my bum is falling out" I had checked to make sure her pants were still on once so I kept reassuring her that she was fine and her bum was not falling out. Well Bryce finally checked her after a while and sure enough her bum was totally showing it was so funny and sad because I was such a bad mom.

Crazy Kids

I just thought these pictures were so funny of the kids. Hudson was wearing two different shoes that were Ellie's and no pants not sure why, but so funny. And he got into his dresser pulled out his underwear put it on his head and said "hat" I was laughing so hard I barely got a good picture. Another time I was busting a gut was Ellie got this little stuffed horse out put a necklace around his neck and went for a ride. She went all around the house like that and I just laughed and laughed.

Hudson is 2!

Hudson turned 2 back in October. He had a really great birthday and wouldn't hold still to get any good pictures so here is the result. Happy Birthday big man we are so glad you came into our lives we will never ever be the same!

Photo Shoot

One Sunday morning while I was getting ready for church Bryce starting doing a photo shoot with the kids. Here are the results. So cute and funny!

Mission: The Musical

Our good friends Jed Christensen and Eric Malazia wrote this awesome play called Mission: The Musical. It is seriously so good. Me, my old roomate Erin, and a bunch of old high school friends went down to SLC on closing night to watch the show, it was so fun. We stayed for the closing night and all the after show fun. We were there pretty late as you can tell by the face Harmony is making in the bottom right picture. But it seriously was a blast.

Homemade Ice Cream

Another thing our family loves about summer is homemade Ice Cream Mmmmmmm. My mouth waters just thinking about it. Well this was one night when we were all eating some ice cream and the kids were loving it and being so funny. They always put their heads together and say "cheese" when we are all sitting at the table. A little side note: Don't you think the top picture of Hudson looks like the Colonel from Kentucky Fried Chicken. Bryce and I were laughing so hard at that.

Fair and Parade

In August the fair came to town and I will be honest it is one of my favorite times of year. I just love that there is something to do everyday and night and the kids love it as much as I do. I also love all that yummy fattening food. The parade starts out the fair festivitiesand the kids got tons of candy plus otter pops and popsicles. The Lewandoski family also joined us this year it was a blast. We went to watch Jordan's wife Jessica's brother Bailey show his pig this year and the kids thought that was really fun. Hudson kept climbing the fence and there were a few times when i swear he almost fell in crazy kid.

The rides were the biggest highlight for the kids. They couldn't get enough although my wallet did. The kids favorite was the merry-go-round, as soon as they got off they wanted to get back on again. It was fun to see them so happy!

Roger'sTractor

In July after we moved in Bryce borrowed a tractor from our family friend Roger Fridal to do some much needed yard work and took the kids for rides. Hudson loved every second of it and didn't want to get off. Ellie however screamed the whole time until we took her off. So funny the differences between boys and girls.

July Water Fun

That's right folks a post for July in January. Let's just say I am a little behind. That's what moving to a new house with no internet will do to you. My sister and her kids came to my mom's house in the summer and we did a little slip and slidin'(Best $5. investment I've ever made). Jamie's kids loved it and mine were not so sure. Ellie had to have the water turned way down and then she would just walk down it, silly girl. We had a mother daughter thing that night and we didn't want Katie's hair to get wet so we put a Ziplock bag on it. So smart and fashionable.

Slacker I know!

We still don't have the internet at our house and I have lost the adapter to my camera's memory card! I know I am a slacker but I do have a few good reasons. SoRry if you are a follower of my blog but I promise there will be more to come hopefully soon.
