House Updates!

Here it is! My new home! Isn't it lovely! Thanks so much to all of our helpers, (Jay, Jordan, Nick, Brady, and so many more). We have the floor finished and two of the back walls are up! There are two more outside walls that are built but Bryce needs a little more man power to put the walls into place! So when those walls go up we will have two full outside walls to our home, only two more to go!! Today I asked Bryce if we were still looking good for getting the house all enclosed by winter and he said, "yeah," so that is also a good thing too! Anyway we are way excited about this and I hope I don't bore the rest of you with all the updates!

Ellie and her food!

These are some funny moments with Ellie and her food! The top right and bottom left are of Ellie helping me make "Macky CHeese." Her idea of helping was sitting in the chair next to me eating the uncooked noodles. Silly Ellie. Next was spaghetti night, top left and middle left. Spaghetti is her favorite and she gets it everywhere thus the pretty hairstyle. Well, Bryce has to have some sort of a bread with every meal because he makes a sandwich out of everything we have for dinner, ex. ham, funeral potatoes, corn, all on a roll and in a sandwich. On spaghetti night, Bryce wasn't even home, and Ellie tore her garlic bread apart and put her spaghetti inside to make a sandwich. I just had to take a picture too funny! Then that Sunday at dinner she tore her roll apart and put her broccoli in it for a delicious broccoli sandwich, top middle! The big picture was a day we made homemade Ice Cream Mmmmmm and she was just loving it so this is her lovely "CHEESE" smile, just adorable, NOT!

I know I am a mean mom!

Okay let me explain! My little Ellie is so adorable but is being a really big pain to go to sleep at night and will do anything to get out of going to bed at night! After I put her to bed she gets up about a million times (slight exaggeration) before she actually goes to bed. About 3 weeks ago ( I know I'm really slow with this post) every time she got out of bed she had her diaper off and it made me so mad I just got angry with her. So, I guess she was scared of me because one night she woke up in the middle of the night and she was all wet. What she had done was taken her diaper off and must have been too scared to come and get a new one so she just left it off and peed the bed. So I put a new diaper on her, changed her sheets and put her back to bed. Well, she woke up that morning all wet again with no diaper on! I was soooo frustrated I called Bryce complaining telling him I just didn't know what to do with her and he said "maybe you should just duct tape it on." What a great idea, I think he meant it as a joke but it worked! If you look close in the picture you can see that she has the Velcro tabs undone but that duct tape kept the diaper on! After 3 nights of duct tape no more problem! I know I am a mean mom!

Hudson firsts!

In the last few weeks Hudson has had a lot of 1st's. He first started crawling about a month ago and everything has come along quickly after! The other day I was making dinner and he pulled himself to standing up against the brick fireplace, of course that was the first thing he pulled himself up to! I don't know if you can tell but he is screaming his little face off in that picture but I had to get it. I quickly saved him after the picture was taken. Then on Sunday we were all lounging around downstairs watching "Tarzan" or some other Disney movie when Ellie decided to sneak off to go upstairs and Hudson decided to follow! He did get all the way up the stairs with dad right behind him the whole way but he would have made it without him! My little boy is just a growing! He is kind of being a little stinker right now because he is getting his 2 upper teeth and he won't take his naps anymore! Oh the joys!

Shower fun! (bridal shower that is)

I know this is really rather late in posting seems how this shower was about 2 months ago. Anyway Jessica, my brother Jordan's fiance had a bridal shower and one of my old friends from growing up was there! It was fun to see Chandi and her cute kids and my Ellie just loved and adored playing with Madalyn. And looks as though Hudson might be in love! ha, ha!

Swim Days

My kids and I love to swim and be in the sun! We go to the Brigham City Pool a lot or just set up a small pool in the backyard and invite a few friends over! Either way fun is had by all! Ellie really suprised me the first time we wne to the Brigham pool we were just sitting in the really shallow part and I was holding Hudson and my friend Stacey's little girl Faye and I looked up and I couldn't see Ellie! I started freaking out looking for her then Stacey spotted her at the top of the slide! I was certain that she would be too scared to go down with no one to catch her but away she went and she loved it! I couldn't get her off the slide the rest of the day! The funniest part about it was her friend Mitchell who will be 4 in Nov. would only go down the slide if someone was at the end of the slide and they had to be touching the slide before he would go down! The other funny picture is of Ellie and her friend Kamdynn. They are so funny together they always want what the other person has and they just yell at each other until us moms come and break it up! Well, on this swim day they both wanted to swing, so Trisha just put them both in and they loved it! So funny! Enjoy!

Our House

There it is! After months of pushing things back and waiting we finally have started our new home! I am so excited! Things have gone very quickly so far but are soon to slow down quite a bit. It is amazing to see when you are paying to have things done how quickly they get done. after the foundation and excavation Bryce will be doing the rest of the house mostly on his own so it progress will quickly slow down. Thanks to Erik Pearson and David Misrasi for helping things go as quickly as they have so far! I was telling Bryce the other day how exciting it was that we were the first people on our road to break ground and he said, "yeah, but we will probably be the last to finish." Oh well, all I care about is that someday I will have a home, yeah!
